VORTEX is a secure, web based, software application developed by Abante Intelligent Solutions for the purpose of capturing, classifying, managing and resolving Safety Management events.

VORTEX supports the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) requirement for effective safety reporting and encourages user participation in Safety Management.

VORTEX provides a flexible platform which can be adapted to meet client driven requirements through the creation of new modules.

VORTEXTM provides the following features:

  • Closed loop safety reporting: VORTEX provides tools for closed loop safety reporting which include: Rapid App & web based reporting, automated email notifications, assignment tracking, and report revision, resolution, and closure.

  • HEMP Risk management: VORTEX identifies and tracks hazards and associated risk assessment(s), provides risk assessment tools, and facilitates storage, retrieval and "live" revisions to your completed risk assessments.

  • Document management: VORTEX provides a document management system which can be used for the storage and retrieval of manuals, procedures, regulations, custom forms, and other types of documents.

  • Graphical Reports: VORTEX provides an interface for the aggregation and graphical display of Safety Management key performance indicators such as the distribution of reports classified as hazards, incidents, or exceedance.

  • Data Backup and Recovery: VORTEX provides automated data backup and recovery services to minimize system downtime and ensure timely system restoration in the event of a disaster.

  • Training exams: VORTEX has an expansive and fully audit-able training function which enables the creation, administration, tracking, and automated scoring of web based exams which can be used for employee training.
